Welcome to my website where I showcase my Art and I try to explain the thought process behind my Art practice. 

 

Finding one’s artistic voice can be hard, and sometimes even when you find it, there are many factors that may make you deviate from your true artistic path.

 

I started to find my way back in 2017 when I was living in London and realised what it was that I wanted to communicate through my creativity. Seeing all the waste in the city and how out of touch so many people were with nature and a more harmonious way of living, inspired me to encourage people, through my art, to think about their actions. Plus I was surrounded by amazing artworks in galleries such as Tate Modern and Tate Britain which I frequented regularly. And so I created my 6 Art Personas. And as it turns out they weren’t just for my Art, but have also guided me over the years in many aspects of my life.

 

After London, when I decided to study at the Barcelona Art Academy, I was fulfilling a life long dream of following in the footsteps of some of my artistic idols. However, that level of training and pressure can be very conditioning and I found that I lost my way. I felt that I needed to honour the skills I had learnt at the Academy and that only that kind of Art was worthwhile, but it wasn’t feeding my creativity in the way I used to feel inspired. Luckily I kept creating from my 6 Art Personas throughout this period, but now I am fully returning to my artistic vision prior to attending the Academy, but still incorporating a lot of what I learnt into this new phase.
